Join MAC for one of our Annual Conferences. Each conference provides a choice of 5-6 workshops in each of four concurrent workshop sessions; activities for the classroom, resources, lunch and ten professional development points with a related classroom activity. Conferences run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Join MAC for one of our Seasonal Workshops on the Farm. Each Workshop runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. and offers an overview of the activities related to one area of agricultural across the state, along with a farm tour, related classroom activities, farm lunch and ten professional development points with a related classroom activity.m.m.us for one of our Annual Conferences for teachers. Annual Winter "Growing Minds through Masssachusetts Agriculture" Conference for Educators
Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Paul R. Baird Middle School, Ludlow from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There is a $50 registration fee (*Six workshop choices will be offered at each of four concurrent sessions held throughout the day.) Click here for more details.
Summer Graduate Course
This 3 Graduate credit Course is sponsored by Massachusetts Agriculture in the Classroom in cooperation with Fitchburg State College.
- Beginning workshop: Tuesday, June 27, 2012
- Ending workshop: Tuesday, August 15, 2012
- 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- *Each participant must attend both sessions and also participate in six additional workshops during the summer, selected from approximately twelve workshops on a variety of topics in locations across the state. Click here for more details
Scholarships
A limited number of full and partial Scholarships are available to all our 2012 Massachusetts Agriculture in the Classroom educational conferences. These scholarships are available to new teachers and teachers from urban schools thanks to funding from a Farm Credit East AgEnhancement Grant.
