Scholarships
We are pleased to report that during the 2012 Calendar Year, a limited number of full and partial Registration Scholarships are available for all of the popular education programs sponsored by Massachusetts Agriculture in the Classroom. This includes full and partial scholarships to our Annual "Growing Minds through Massachusetts Agriculture" Winter Conference on March 10, 2012, our "Summer Workshops on the Farm", and our "Fall Greening the School Conference" on Saturday, November 10, 2012 in Brookline.
One full scholarship registration is available for each of our Seasonal Workshops on the Farm, a $30 value. Five full and five half Scholarships are available for the Winter and Fall Conferences, at $50 or $25 each.

Eligible candidates for these scholarships must meet the following requirements:
- all eligible candidates must be a teacher in Massachusetts or training to be a teacher at a Massachusetts college;
- all eligible candidates must be training to be a teacher, new to teaching within the past five years or must teach in an urban community.
- all eligible candidates must complete and submit an application form answering all questions provided. Click here for a copy of the application form.
The Board of Directors of Massachusetts Agriculture in the Classroom will review all Scholarship applications and will notify applicants at least one week before the program is scheduled to begin. Winning candidates will be required to send in a brief report of their educational experience. Copies of some of these reports will be sent to the Scholarship Sponsor.
